Hi! I'm Jen Pasha and
I teach math at Bear Lakes Middle School in Palm Beach County. At
Bear Lakes, I teach 7th grade math along with pre-algebra. I find
teaching to be one of the most rewarding professions out there. It
is hard to explain the feeling that you get when you make a difference
in someone's life and in their future. I feel lucky to be able to
do it. I love my work!
My Background
I was born in Colchester, VT
where I spent 22 years braving the freezing cold climate. I have
a set of wonderful parents and a really cool brother who is 14. I
went to the University of Vermont and earned a degree in Elementary Education.
I had a lot of fun in college and love many things about Vermont, like
the foliage on a cool fall afternoon, the pretty freshly fallen snow, the
quaint towns where you can find the neatest little restaurants and shops,
and of course Vermont's pride and joy- Ben & Jerry's ice cream!
After a while I decided that it was time to thaw out, and moved to sunny
South Florida. I love the sun, the surf, and all the festivals and
night life West Palm Beach has to offer.
My Interests
I love to do things outside
as much as possible, and Florida is a great place to do it. I love
kids, my dog Grady, mountain biking, hiking, swimming, and rollerblading.
I go to the ocean whenever I get a chance because it is so relaxing and
it clears my mind. I am a real family person, so it is a bummer that
my family is so far away. I also enjoy just kicking back and enjoying
life with my man and my best friend, Steve.
