My Pony Page
Example HR
Hello fellow Internet surfer and welcome to my home page. I'm very glad that you made it this far . . . and I hope that you'll stick around long enough to get to know just a little bit more about me and my life. After all, these days, acquaintances that begin in cyberspace are often the most real, vivid, and long-lasting - and maybe that will be true of us. (Especially if your as horse crazy as me!)

My Background
I was born in a tiny little town in Oklahoma. I believe that I am related to every person in my county.  At least it makes family reunions interesting!  My family has a rich history of horses. My grandfathers on both sides were horsemen, including a Colonel of the U.S. cavalry in the last infantry, an olympic participant, and a racehorse trainer, all being very Irish.  I began my horse career at the ripe old age of three with my first pony, Ladybug.
I started showing when I was five with my second pony, Joe, a registered Welsh Pony.
Ever since then I have been hooked on the Welsh pony breed.  I am currently riding a third horse, Rhythm, and doing wonderfully.  Most of my life is centered around my horses, but I am also very active in 4-H, High School Choir, Select Choir, Student Council, Tennis, Church and Cheer leading. Life can occasionally get pretty hectic juggling all of these, but you only have one to live, so go full blast!

My Horses, Of Course
Ladybug was a very small elderly shetland pony that opened the doors to the wonderful world of horses that I live in now.  I took her to my first show at the county fair and won a first place! (So did everyone else in the class, but I didn't care!)
Joe was my first real show horse.  We trained and worked with her until we finally achieved a National Championship! (Junior Trail)
Rhythm is my current horse and we are showing in dressage, hunter and breed shows.  She is a beautiful jumper and always tries.

On my Own
I am fifteen years and am enjoying my current stay at Florida Atlantic University.  It's a bit further than a hop, skip and a jump from my house, but everyone enjoys a little change of scenery every now and then.  I am looking forward to starting the tenth grade at our high school, but still pretty nervous.  Right now I would like to thank two people for their wonderful support and encouragement not only in the academic area, but also as a young person.
Thank you so much, Mom, Papa John and Ms. McCloud, the best English teacher a shy seventh grader can get!
