Hi!  My name is Ann Glusman.  Annie to my friends.  I've been a middle school teacher for the past 15 years.  I'm presently taking a class to "better" myself  in terms of technology.  It's rather embarassing when the kids are more computer literate then you are!
I'm trying my hardest BUT... I'm not always successful.  My motto for the summer will be, "If at first you don't succeed, try try again."

My Background
Many years ago, my family decided to come to Florida on vacation. Surprise!! I decided not to wait until June and was born prematurely and am a true Florida native. I decided I needed a change when it was time to go away to college.  I left the security of family and friends and went to the beautiful mountains of Tennessee.  I'm very proud to be a Tennessee Vol!  (even though we haven't beaten the Gators in who knows how many years?!) I've taught grades 2-8 in special education.  After feeling that I was getting loonier than the kids, I switched to Chapter I math.  I've taught all levels of math in grades 6-8.  Not bad for an Special Ed./elementary ed. major.

My Interests
Growing up in a family of boys, I learned to appreciate all the sports.  As an observor that is; I'm better at watching than participating.  I love when football season starts.  If the Vols are playing on T.V. you'll find me glued there on any given Saturday.  Same thing goes if the Dolphins are playing!  I'm also a Heat and Marlins fan.  I'm trying to learn about hockey so I can enjoy the Panthers more.  Sports aren't my only interests. I love to dance, go to movies, out to dinner, to the beach...
