Hello! Welcome to my homepage.  This is my first attempt at composing a web page.  I am currently participating  in the Technology Connection Workshop at Florida Atlantic University, Boca Raton, Florida.

My Background
I was born in Queens, New York and live there until I graduated from high school in 1972. At that time I moved to Tamarac, Florida with my family. I attended Broward Community College for 2 years and than transferred to Florida State University where I graduated in 1976 with a B.S. degree in Rehab. Services.  I continued my education at Florida Atlantic University, where I received by Masters Degree in Education in 1985.  I have been married for 15 wonderful years and have two children ages 12 and 13.  I am currently teaching science at Margate Elementary School.

My Interests
I guess that the best - and fastest - way to really get to know me
is by discovering what I like. I like to spend time with my family, shop, do crafts and power walk and travel.
I also love to go to the movies and out to eat, but I also love to cook.

My Personal Records
I am a mere 44 years old.  Like I said, I am currently teaching science at Margate Elementary.  Prior to this I worked at Deerfield Middle for 5 years where I taught math and science to 6,7 and 8th graders.  Prior to that I taught GED at Coral Springs Community School and Sociology at Broward Community College for 6 years, both were part time.  Prior to that I was a Probation Officer for the State of  Florida and worked with adult felonies.  I  also worked as a Juvenile Probation Officer in a small town in Texas.  However my favorite job was working as a Safety Programs Director for the American Red Cross in Gainesville, Florida.
